I think I would've liked that. I know there's many Goku and Vegeta clones in the game, but personally, I would've totally taken SS4 Goku and Vegeta clones, and I imagine Vegeta 4 would've had the Final Shine. It would've made the roster bigger, made for some aggressive movesets, plus their SS4 looks are so good and they already had the models made!

So funny how they referenced some of Budokai 3's normals when really most of those normal jabs and kicks in Budokai were generic and had the exact same animation for all the other characters because they used one model for all the characters in Budokai games, just different skins, lol. FighterZ made Gogeta's generic normals from Budokai be personalized and look so anime and stylish. Arc System Works know how to take nothing and turn it into something.

@@Rkader11 It's not slander, it's truth. Budokai was never a real fighting game, lmao. I only played that on the side of Street Fighter and Guilty Gear back in the day because I like Dragon Ball. It didn't deliver a competitive fighting game experience to sink your teeth into and actually create personal combos PER CHARACTER. Budokai didn't allow for any player expression because it was never a tech monsters game.

I honestly love how they chose to give so many references to older DBZ games to this character. SS4 Gogeta has always been mostly known for his appearances in the older PS2 games as the strongest character you could unlock, more than his very short appearance in the not as popular GT series.

The pose at 9:15 is from 100% full power Frieza! I think it's the scene when he bested ss goku calling him a monkey as he lied faced down. A very memorable part of the fight. Ironically he looks like one in that form lol. ( Search: Dragonball Frieza calls goku a monkey and beats him) on youtube.

8:37 The reason I searched up your video on this is because 12 years ago chakraX had made a sonic trilogy that operates in the same fashion as dragonball (powering up to go super, big beams and energy blast, and some scenes that were directly inspired from dragon ball) and at the dramatic climax of the series shadic, the fusion of sonic and shadow, do a move that's similar to this where they use a beam to disintegrate the main villain and a silhouette of the two beings that are fused appears by the side of the fusion. when i saw it in fighterz when gogeta uses his lvl three, i came to you for the original reference, but the reference you use is recent, meaning that the chakraX animation predates that of the official dragon ball animation. I've come to the conclusions that either someone at dragonball headquarters saw the sonic animation and thought it was cool or there's another piece of media you and i havent found that has the origin of that visual. anyway, love your vids and i wish to see more of your content.

What I love is, Because SSJ4 Gogeta was in so little of the GT anime, SSJ4 Gogeta is much more of a love letter to Budokai and the Tenkaichi games than he is to the anime. He is THE Budokai character. It also makes me realize a lot of the iconic SSJ4 Gogeta stuff from those games was either made up or embellished to a massive degree. Just another point against GT. Even the coolest things about GT weren't actually in GT.

@@tkm1875 Oh definitely. I'm more comenting on the brevity of Gogeta 4's existance being defined by games than arcsys's job implementing him. They managed to take a lot of these elements and make him into a unique character. Ironically giving him some of the more universal techniques from the budokai/tenkaichi games makes him feel more original. Like giving him explosive wave.

I like they noticed that Gogeta's eyelid is not red or colored at all, but he has the evil eyes like Goku Black and characters possessed by Baby. Normally a Super Saiyan 4 especially those in Heroes all have the red eyelid. What I don't like is that they still added the red underline under his eyes which should just be black. I wish Gogeta had the vanilla Big Bang Kamehameha like the Blue Counterpart. I just love that waterly wave effect which is lost in the level 7 delete all move because so much stuff is on screen. And also could would be if Gogeta could have been able to kick away a Super, but he has so many cool mechanics already.
