One of the tremendously beautiful aspects of songs is, it reminds you of the memories related to it.. In 2016, when I was struggling to go to my college against my family and I was being hindered in every step through the admission process, I used to listen to this song. I felt so empowered and considered myself the "Ik Kudi" .I feared a lot as it was only my decision and I was entitled to succeed. But the days while going to my college were incomparably beautiful! It was like living my dreams. I do miss those days.

+Simran Kapoor good point Simran! My maternal family is Khatri Punjabi from Pakistan who migrated to India after partition and I think that's why I am able to connect with this music. Never thought of this logic, but interestingly it's kind of making sense. :)

simran kapoor plz do some research . i think u only listen the bangra song..this song ik kudi is writen nd sing by shive batalvi in 1969 plz listen original by him.nusrat fateh akli khan and many other pakistani sing his composition

Incredible song. I cañ't get enough of this song. His voice hangover. My god. Lovely adorable voice. Listened it approx 100 times but still i'm in love. Magic of good music composition and soothiest voice. Diljit has got charm on his face acting and singing also😚
