That is a human being that can never be an elected president of Kenya. We have a system problem. Kenyans are the corrupt ones not the leaders. It's the citizens who are the problem. It's them who said, "si uchawi, ni maombi"... What we need is a dictator to keep this population in check. To show that it's the citizens, look at the support Gachagua is receiving. It's proof that the citizens want this type of leaders. This is the best we can do. Ruto is a representation of who are as a people.

Well said, which applies to Kasongo's cabinet. He needs to do the utmost, and with the greatest urgency possible, to ensure that the > 60% of Kenyan youth that are unemployed get jobs. Some say the figure is > 70%. Most indications are that the situation is getting worse fast... the economy is contracting, we're importing a lot of things that we were producing locally even half a decade ago. A crisis of unimaginable proportions is looming. But Ruto selected a political cabinet in 2022, and perpetuated the same after 2024 protests. Having supported Raila and voluntarily put my all into campaigning for him in 2022 (mostly to appease his supporters who feel that they've been short-changed/excluded for decades, and avoid a Kasongo presidency), I would say that unquestioning loyalty to Raila is a problem too. The loyalty is weaponized by the likes of Kasongo. I have a lot of criticisms of Raila actually, but that is touchy subject. Best if the whole KANU lot is gone.
