After this interview, I have noticed robert alai is just your typical politician, he has no moral or political spine, he spoke about how he was pro baba, then went to uhurus side, then went back to baba, then ruto, then baba again, the moral spine is when he advocated for kick backs as a governor when you make roads, we are rotten to the core, with the way he was an advocate of social, economic justice but what I have realised he is just as crooked

People give raila too much credit, yet all his political capital and name has been built on being a snitch while in detention during the mo1 era. While he was snitching to mo1 about potential mo1 threats to eliminate, he also made sure to include his own perceived rivals, which mo1 eliminated to pave the way for him as the longest serving "opposition leader in the world. The guy simply uses his sycophants as leverage through violence and then makes deals with the govt in power at every election. It has served him well for over 50yrs. But sooner or later natural attrition takes over. He is simply a sellout.

The reason Alai has adduced for abandoning Baba for Uhuru in the run-up to 2017 is so lame. If he claims to be a principled guy, how would he be so casually convinced to switch sides with the opponent for a season? It is simple, Uhuru's whatever Bruce, simply paid him to switch sides and that means Alai has a price, that Sakaja has simply not called. He even ended up supporting Ruto and only came back to Baba when he realised with his support he could get into political office. Huyu ni political entrepreneur.
