Yes, I did try those "GoPro" angles long ago. I guess it was you that showed an il2 thread about this. But I would like to have some additional options on the free camera view with some padlocking options for it, change the angles of the padlock and also to be able to use TrackIR to move the camera... One can dream.

I wonder if the lack of visual clarity with the added affects isn't much like 'being there' vs as is seen watching most sims. Ten mile+ visibility in all directions when not in the clouds? Windscreen spotless flying to and during the entire battle? Hmm .. btw, excellent editing for we who will never 'fly' and/or just watch for the gunnery. Gotta be tough leading a target by steering the plane. Keep up the good work, esp the WW II content!

Yeah! I remember very clearly about this one.... We were flying IL-2s and our escort was out of ammo (and trying to hit the 109 with a pistol). When the 109 exploded, everyone started screaming like crazy!
