I agree with countless others here Taff, we NEED the 262 in a career !!! I also wanna state that the First video of yours that I watched was Rise of Flight, and now that IL-2 has the 1917-18 timeline I’d LOVE to see more WWI birds !

This was utterly excellent taff, the old 262A is a legend. Had countless hours of fun with this bird myself.. but.. seems to lack a bit for me.. when I haven't got enemy aircraft on equal footing to take on.. regardless.. still had hours of fun with this on bomber interception and ground attack, as well as obliterating allied fighters. 30mm cannons and a stunning shape to match, this would be great for a future series. Great special.. really.. this was great.. thanks for posting this on mate 👍

Although jet engines were still in their infancy they still made for impressive speeds for that time period and the 262 has such beautifull lines, soft on the eyes,your flying and shooting is 'experten' level!

Great Stuff. when the 262 entered service the Germans must've been SO annoyed that the FW190 had already claimed the nickname "Butcher Bird". Despite the problems with, and vulnerabilities of the engines, this thing was a revolutionary step forwards. Can we have a Career please?

Doesn’t mean that you can’t go back and take the time to relearn the basics and try again! If you love something enough it’s always worth the effort

@@marshmellodog : Actually, the best thing for old IL-2 pilots to do is go back and fly the WW1 biplanes, and not the WW2 monoplanes. Slower planes means slower targets, so slower reflexes will be good enough.

@@timonsolus That would be true to at least start off with if Paul has the DLCs for that. It was just my 2 cents on his comment as one shouldn't think negatively due to old age or said reflexes. You lose skills if you don't use them, young or old.

Tempest V's the Typhoon's Hispano 20mm cannons stuck out from the wing that is the easiest way to tell the two from each other, The other thing is Tempest had an all metal rudder the Tiffy was wood and fabric just like the Hurricane.

I wish WT had this kind of realism , there you can't pull with props and the 30mm have a ballistic trajectory like Hans would throw a rock . You can only dream of sniping .

You have simulation mode in wt but if you are confident enough to try why not just go for better experience like dcs or il2 directly.

Its normall. My late grandpa did tech mining school in France. B4 enrolling in WW2. After war after retirement he received 80€ French school apprntcship reimbursement. Even up to... 100€ after revaluation (inflation). 100€ is cool 2 get in Poland even today (1/5th min ret). For partisan/army/tank battalion? Nope - thts 4 mining school/tech wrkd yrs. (5) For war he got 0!€
