IL-2 Great Battles [VR] - Nice Duel with a Dora (Spitfire Mk XIVe)

What's better than a Spitfire? A Spit with a bubble canopy! I just bought that one and I think I'm gonna have great fun with it. It looks a bit weird but the much improved rear visibility more than make up for that!

Thank you! I mean when you think Spitfire you don't think bubble canopy...They should have been designed like this from the start imo though. Huge fan of bubble (teardrop) canopies here!

Nice fight, that teardrop canopy is great especially in vr lock servers. Couldn’t get on long tonight as our dog had an eye operation today and needs constant supervision incase she starts scratching at the stitches. Must catch up with you tomorrow, what time are you normally on. I just missed gihrenzabi in Berloga earlier too.

Exciting fight indeed! Thing I've noticed here: It's hard to model believeable pilot blackouts, but IL-2 does a nice job. (If the pilot is injured, it gets outright scary!)

Thanks! It can get scary indeed, the other day my pilot was injured, my canopy was full of oil and I had to aim looking through a hole in it... I didn't last long :)

I don't think it was intentional, I think he started spinning again, but that looked weird indeed...
