No he's doing the correct thing, the Tiger H1 is a Supporting Heavy tank. The PZIVs and PZIIIs are assault tanks and are supposed to push and secure whilst the supporting tanks yk do what he's doing. Being smart

@@PerditasAcademy Pz 3 and 4 were no assault tanks. In that era (summer 43) Tigers (if available) lead the charge followed and supported by the lighter tanks 3 and 4. Or in case of a regular Panzerregiment, 4´s lead the charge followed by 3´s and 4´s with short barrels. They followed the rule, whoever has the thickest armor and packs the biggest punch is leading and the others follow and secure the flanks -> spearhead doctrine. There are some fantastic tank gunner diaries here on youtube you can listen to if you don´t wanna buy the books.

Nice combination of situational awareness, anticipation, target prioritisation and shooting skills. How can you repair a damaged track and how much time does it take?

Thank you! Usually any part of your tank can get repaired when you turn off your engine and open at least one hatch but it takes its time. A broken track for example takes 10 minutes to repair. Even though it is rare it can also happen that your track or engine gets completely destroyed and therefore can not get repaired which leaves you immobile.

If this game is realistic, then it certainly took some spine from crew to get out to repair the track. Area seemed hostile and you dont know who do those civilians in the nearby settlement symphatize with....though they dont give a whit about 88mm shells flying right past them.

This looks nice. Next sale i consider buying it. Are the Pz IVs AI or other players? Also is there a way to measure or at least estimate the distance to the targets? Or are you just eyeballing it? Subbed and waiting for your next vid

The Pz IVs were actually real players. The Zeis Optic which is used in the german tanks provides a very accurate way of measuring the distance to an object. There are a few tutorials on youtube on how to do it.

The Tiger's intended role was to support the Panzer 4 and 3 with taking hard targets at a range. With that whenever a Tiger couldn't pen a hard target at range and the panzers couldn't. That's why a Tiger has armor to finally get up close.
