Nadie puede negar que era encantador en todos los sentidos. Tan natural y sencillo. El talento le brota por cada poro y él tan tranquilo y carismático cada segundo. Que respuestas estupendas y que actitud tan modesta. Único, irrepetible. Il Divo make almost every song they cover sound better than the original and I have been repeat listening to many of their videos since hearing of Carlos' sad passing. It's hard to believe and heart-breaking that so soon after this recent interview where Carlos is looking forward to the upcoming UK tour that he is no longer with us. RIP Carlos. Carlos no sólo era la voz ,el alma y la esencia de IL DIVO,todo él,era magia pura ,su manera de ser ,se ve q es un hombre sencillo, humilde,sencillo ,lleno de energía y vitalidad ,un gran gentleman,el hombre de la sonrisa cautivadora,picarona, mirada penetrante ,trabajador nato ... Thank you for the very personal interview you have done with Carlos Marín. Magnificent Human Being, charismatic, simple, affable man, with a prodigious and irreplaceable Voice. His death still has me in shock. I don't speak English well, but it seemed to me that Carlos said: "One of us was sick, so we didn't act; it's the four of us who are Il Divo." I don't know what the Conjunto is going to do now but, if they are going to look for a substitute, it will not be successful because he is going to be compared to Carlos and no one can be compared to Carlos, he was unique and the Soul of Il Divo. So many souls lost to this terrible disease worldwide....all important, all meaningful. When we hear of a beloved performing artist we are fans of, it's like, on some level, a good friend is gone. An obvious tragedy for his family and friends but to the group itself. When Carlos mentioned in this interview....one member missing due to illness and the performance on-going with the remaining three, that was a pensive, if not portentous, moment.

Yes , i was totally shocked and very upset..been watching II Divo for many years since they first appeared on PBS so long ago..and what a horrible shock for his dearest mom and fans .. but it makes one realize HOW VERY VERY SERIOUS AND DANGEROUS this virus really is..if only Carlos had gone to the hospital in the UK as soon as he felt ill..but he didn’t and realized what hed done…but too late after being placed in an induced coma ..as he explained to his ex wife..he knew how sick he really was..its sooo sooo horribly sad… RIP Carlos..you will be missed soo very much…and your wonderful Christmas songs this year…how delightful that would have been…

I just heard he died of COVID! His last appearance was on December 6th, with the rest of his bandmates. After that, he went downhill and was put into an induced coma, which he never came out of. I'm so heartbroken! And before you preach....he *was* vaccinated! Rest in peace, Carlos. You will be missed by many.

he actually had only a single vaccine, Jansen. No booster. He had, however, suffered covid previous to the vaccine ...so probably Carlos Marin had some other pathological health problem which we do not know of. He then got covid again! Really sad.

This is the second time I've watched this interview. You did a wonderful job with the questions and letting Carlos finish his thoughts. It is heartbreaking to think this could very well be the last lengthy interview he did. But Carlos did the interview with such joy and openness, almost like a conversation among friends. I think that's what makes his loss so difficult. He was so personable, so approachable, and exuded such a joy for life. Such a shock to everyone. Of course each person's Covid related death is just as horrible, and all these families mourning, I think Carlos would have said. I am sure his band mates and family are devastated and it will take time for them to come to terms with this. I wish them lots of strength. And we need to remember each Covid related soul that left us too early. May Carlos be a blessing to all of them in heaven ❤️❤️🙏🙏

Wow just watched this amazing interview, when Carlos said Il Divo is 4 people and the time one was off sick and they sung as 3 it wasn't the same because if there isn't 4 then it's not Il Divo. Such a shame he isn't with us, a great loss to the music world.

Lovely to have this, as a memento mori. Still in shock at Carlos Marin's death. He is truly irreplaceable. His charm, humour, sparkle in his eyes and his phenomenal voice made Carlos a "one off" All I wish is that the others in Il Divo do NOT try and replace Carlos with another Baratone. If they do, I for one will never listen to them again. He was/is an integral part of the group and always will be. 😢
