Film-fairy tale by Alexander Ptushko " Ilya Muromets"
Based on Russian folk epics. Tugars are rampaging on the Russian land, burning houses, trampling crops. Therefore, Ilya Muromets goes to Kiev-grad to Prince Vladimir. Many glorious feats on the road are performed by the hero, but because of the traitorous boyars, Prince Vladimir puts Ilya in a deep cellar. Having learned about this, the Tugars attack the Russian land with a new force. Prince Vladimir has to ask Ilya to stand up for the motherland. And to help Muromets come two brave heroes, his loyal companions Alyosha Popovich and Dobrynya Nikitich.
