This is a short film on Ilẹ Àsà illustrating the design in 3d and also the back story.
The #design involves a #research on #yoruba #culture, the way of life of this great set of people and how that can be translated into #modern day #architecture .
It involved studying traditional Yoruba architecture and not refining it but learning from the fundamental elements or principles that makes it what it is and then putting that into the complex world of design we find ourselves today.
In summary, my design and research focused on how the culture of a people directly reflects on their architecture and making it symbolic to what we know them to be. The design also illustrates and showcased the history of this people, their heritage and beliefs seamlessly using architecture as a medium.
Note:
This is an educative content, created as part of a design presentation for a school project.
Eshe ooo! Thank you.
