I loved the atmospherics of the building. I have often imagined,in my mind, a lone trumpeter in a valley with the sound echoing up and down from the hills. I had the privilege of performing on the shores of lake Eildon, not this piece, but a different one with that resonance. Echoing over the lake and off mountains. I really loved this rendition of il silenzio. Thank you.

In the Italian Army we have 2 version of Silenzio. ( Taps for for American/English etc.have one)The short one is the most used for remembeing the lost soldiers at ceremony etc.etc. Every day the Silenzio soundat 23:00 and at 00:: on Saturday. "Silenzio Fuori Ordinanaza" Is almost like the Silenzio but wiht a longer extension and longer music. There is on internet e fantastic version with Ninni Rosso. Very goud trumpeter. Folgore^
