Oh thank God! I thought there was something wrong with me at my age. It's good to know I am not alone in my adoration of Piero. I saw Il Volo for the first time about six weeks ago on PBS and fell in love with the three of them and their beautiful voices. Their faces aren't awful to look at either! Huge understatement! ; ) First time I ever wanted to be younger.

he's very different in 2009 then, he was so serious in his performances then, I like him more now, and the fun he is adding to his performances, you can really tell he enjoys what he's doing. more power Piero fabulous!!!

You really hit the nail on the head, so to speak! From the moment I saw them I thought Gianluca was incredibly handsome (and he is), Ignancio is just adorable, but THE ONE is Piero! What can I say. I'm only a female human -- thankfully. At least I know I'm not dead!!!

Well, even though I am not a grandmother myself, I HAVE grandmothers - may I join the fight ... er, I should say, "friendly competition" for Piero too? Even though I love all three of them, my eyes are always drawn to Piero - I find him to be utterly enchanting, and his voice so captivating I stop in my tracks every time I hear it. So it is a good thing I don't have a cd player in the car; this could be dangerous. :)

I don't think anybody cares if it's opera or not. They pack the place everywhere they go. It's pretty close to opera for me, I keep playing their songs every day. Wish people would not leave negative comments....not nice.

No, I think he is a major magnet for women and girls of all ages - there's just something about him that makes a lot of us weak in the knees. I've tried to figure out what it is - all I can tell you is that it was instantaneous and nearly knocked me flat. I am older than he is, too (~10 yrs), so no, you are not alone. Tell you what, though - he has turned into such a spellbinding hunk I'm on the verge of making my next boyfriend change his name to "Piero" to avoid future problems. :)

@MsSuzmat I like Piero best, too. I have listened to them so much I can pick their individual voices out of a group song. They have carved a wonderful niche for themselves in Popera and might not need to sing at the Met to succeed.

This is very slow and tune is higher than the other Non Ti Scordar Di Me he sang solo before. Off course he can hit the high note with his wide vocal range. In fact I am absolutely amazed in the range he has when the low bariton is just as strong as Gianluca.

@jetaimearln I sing too!... I'm a contralto... I can't sing high at ALL!! lol! So I end up singing men songs :/. They tell me altos like me that can hit low notes aren't that common... so they make me feel "un-normal" :(... so I don't sing as often in public :(... no matter how good I get.
