It's great to see these kids because teens need this kind of music and Il Divo has a much older fan base(that I'm part of). @GerRoland Well I'm 68 years and I love Classical Crossover music which Il Volo sings. We need more CC singers here in America. Are you aware that the American Grammy committee killed that classification? I'm also a huge Jackie Evancho fan(I hope she will sing with the boys soon) but she is the only CC singer in this country that I know of. She will not win a Grammy for her Dream With Me album. :( Best New Artist is the only category she can win now. Go Il Volo sing with Jackie!!

@pvkjell True. I think they made an effort to learn some German as well. Well, almost true. A FEW Americans did pay Italians the respect of learning their language. The majority assume that if they add an "o" to the end of most nouns they're speaking Italian.

0:53 Piero meant to say that they started to study music a year ago as a group of Il Volo. The interviewer misinterpreted that as Piero saying that they all began studying opera at 1 year old. Sooooo lame. Then Ignazio tried to explain that they actually sing classical pop. In Italian and Spanish the word "lirico" means not following the formal technicalities of music theory, but to follow one's inspiration, feeling, emotion, almost improvising. I think this interview got lost in translation.

I'm confused, please enlighten me. This Video was Uploaded on June 25 as it says by your name, but on June 25 they were performing live here in Glendale California at the "Americana" Mall. This Video is from them performing in New York City at My Fox station. Was this from before they came to Ca.? I want to thank you for Uploading this Video cause I never get tired of listening to them I bought all there music from I Tunes and play all day but I love to watch them sing as well.
