Perhaps my favourite aircraft of the 2nd World War. Pioneering in so many ways. Absolutely state-of-the-art and pioneering in so many ways. What a beautiful aircraft.

The Arado 234, undoubtly one of my favorite Luftwaffe aircraft, right next to the Me-262. There was a campaign where you get to play as a pilot of the Arado-234, one of the missions I remember well is the one with a damaged B-17 which you need to shoot down only using your re-facing 20mms. That was fun as hell.

Wiso trägt hier im Video die Maschine, die ein Aufklärer sein soll die Startzusatz-Raketen, die wurden doch nur bei schwerer Bombenlast verwendet, z.B. bei 1x 1.000 Kg. im Rumpf,und je 1x 5.00 Kg. unter jeder Tragfläche, bei weniger brauchte man sie auch nicht.

What were the 2 under-wing pods that were jettisoned soon after takeoff? I thought they might be rockets to assist takeoff, but there are no visible discharges from them.
