+Top Secret In his defense, the first time I saw IL2 1946 I thought it was a one specific sim about the Ilyushin Sturmovik, althought the 1946 didn't make sense. I think it's a strange name for sim. Why not name it P-40 1944? Or Ki-43 1945, or TBD Devastor 1947? I'm sure someone will enlighten me, but I think it's a weird choice of a name.

@@michaeldavid6284 the original IL-2 was basically just an IL-2 sim, but they expanded it to more planes in the expansions but kept the IL-2 named because it was famous at that point
