This is a Lavochkin built at the YAROSLAVL plant isn't it? It's got 3 cannon rather then 2? Correct?

the ki 84 was better designed to shoot down b 29s and p 51s while the la 7 was a low altitude fighter.

Even the LA 11 couldn't shoot down the b 29 as its performance suffered above 7000 m

The Ki 84 and the n1k2 and the Ki 100 were high altitude fighters which could challenge the mustangs and the thunderbolts unlike the yaks and lavochkins which were designed for low and medium altitudes.
