Thank you for showing how this looks in VR! How are the controls? Can you just use a joytick and pedals and map things to it, or is a keyboard and mouse absolutely required? What about transitioning to the sights etc?

Yes i used a hotas flight stick but to move the turret with the stick you need a software called joy2key. Its free and easy to use. I did not use pedals but i believe you can use them too if you have joy2key.

Looks great.. I have battle of Stalingrad for air combat.. Is the tank crew part of that or something that is paid for separately and extra? Are you unable to look down the sights properly in VR though? Thank you

hey thanks. well you have to have the base game "battle of Stalingrad" and then you can purchase tank crew as an add on. at least that's how it was available at the time. however If you own bos, you can play with tanks on vr by setting up the battle in quick mission (if I remember correctly) by selecting the tank icon on the map. feel free to ask away.

It's really keyboard/mouse as of this video. You can however use a hotas flight stick (as I did) but there will be some tweaking needed. Good luck and if you have any questions I'll be more than glad to help.

I don't think steam has the content. Only the base game. I went to the main site to get the content.

Schöner Ersteindruck, ich habe auch das Hauptspiel und fliege ab und an mal in VR. Die Panzer würden mich auch mal reizen, nur war ich anfangs erschrocken wie mies mein Sichtfeld unter der Brille gewesen ist. Ich habe seit kurzem die HP reverb G2 und würde dem ganzen gerne eine 2 Chance geben, zumal es damals noch in der Beta war. Spielst du noch regelmäßig?

@@СергейБильмандо yes im sorry for the late reply. you need to get the base game il2 battle of stalingrad then purchase tank crew as an extension. you can still use tanks without the extension.

No I used a flight stick and throttle. I dont think vr controllers can be used inn this game for the tanks.
