As everyone says it isn’t discrimination. You have to show competency in practice and by passing the test which isn’t easy dahil talagang iba ang training sa Pinas compared to more advanced countries. I know PH trained physicians who struggle here in the US dahil sabi nila maraming mga sakit na hindi nila alam. One thing people can do is to ask employers and professional groups for guidance and help. Refresher courses and test review courses can make a difference. Madaling magkaroon ng takot at ma depress kung ma realize mo na ang mga katrabajo mo ay mas madunong pero hindi ibig sabihin mas matalino sila. Just a matter of better education and training. Keep looking for ways to bring yourself to the same level as them!

Siguro dapat you need to focus na ipasa mo ang exam and not giving some excuses. Discrimination is everywhere. It's just a matter of adjustment, determination, pakihalobilo at acceptance and most being humble. Ask if you need help. Kung minsan kasi mapride tayong Filipino na akala natin ok na tayo,, kahit hindi. Example ko lang,,, Filipina nakapag- asawa Foriegner, profi sya sa Pinas pagdating sa ibang bansa you cannot just practice what's your Profession in the Philippines, you need to adopt thier rules and standard of learning. You need to take exams here, exams there. You are lucky you extended until 2 years. Pass requirements here, have an appoinment there. Life in other countries is not only Bread and Honey. May Pandesal, tuyo at sinangag rin. Kaya if you want to go, work and live in abroad be open minded and understand that not all things are easy to achieve.

I came to UK in 2019. It is really stated in your contact that you have to pass the exam before you got your PIN and practice as a nurse, it is clearly stated in the contract. I don't see any discrimination in what you have stated because your enmployer and you is bound by the contract, in fact your employer has been lenient for hoj to be in the trust even you dont have the PIN. I'm sorry if you havent passed the OSCE for the span of 2 years, but the employer has all the right to send you back home since you did not meet the requirements to practice nursing safely and with competence. And you have all the right to say NO not to be in ITU if you dont have the competence and experience, it is for the safety of your patience and for your own as well. In the first place, you dont have experience and PIN how can you agree to be deployed in ICU?you cant even give paracetamol tablet when you dont have the PIN. I worked in the CRU because there was no vacancy in the ITU when i came in 2019. Then covid came and our trust redeploy those who have ITU experience and they opened a placement in the ITU and i stayed. I am just wondering which trust he is working? In our trust you will not be working in the ITU alone, you will undergo supernumerary for 6weeks and you have a mentor looking after you,i.e, when you have the PIN. Just to be fair with the NHS, they have all the right to terminate you as you did not fulfill what's in your contract.I feel sorry for you that you have not any support to pass your OSCE
