Ilish Polao or Hilsa Pulao is an extremely fragrant and delicious Bengali style food cooked with Ilish mach or Hilsa. As it is rainy season, Ilish of different sizes are available now.This popular Bengali fish pilaf has quite unique combination of flavours of fresh ilish and classic taste of Bengali culture or tradition.Most of us usually thinks ilish polau means the heavy combination of garam masala and many kinds of spices. But here elish or hilsa is actually cooked in yogurt or milk along with rice and mild spices.This recipe is way different from others also carrying a different taste. সরিষার তেল (Soybean Oil) - 1/2 Cup
ধনিয়া গুড়া (Coriander powder) - 1 tsp
মরিচ গুড়া (Red Chilli powder) - 1 tsp
কাঁচামরিচ বাটা (Green Chilli paste) - 1 tsp
লবণ (Salt) - to taste
পেঁয়াজ বেরেস্তা (Fried Onion) - to taste
কাঁচামরিচ (Green Chilli ) - 5-6 pcs
