The problem is often the poor quality of the cleaning solutions they suggest. I would try either the Bissell Crosswave solutions or my favorite, PineSol.

Yaaas! I hoped it would remove all the dirt and it did perfectly fine! I don't know how a Braava would do in such conditions but for the price, the W400S is a really good mop.

Next time I'll use the T8 AIVI so that will test my theory about the pad getting filled up with mud. I predict it will clean a small part of the room very well and then just smear mud around. If the T8's pad gets filled up then so would a Braava's.

@@MrRoombato Well, a Braava does not have two tanks, does it? I assume that helps a lot in such situation.

@@SmartRobotReviews The Braava Jet just has a single fresh water tank. The Scooba, w400 have two separate tanks. A fresh water and dirty water tank.

Just got my hands on a w450. Im super impressed with how well it performs. we have real hardwood, so was concerned about leaving lots of water after a clean, however you can play with th settings to reduce the water usage and also can perform a dry clean as a final pass which works perfectly.

On the other hand, the slower it moves, the better it cleans. So you may want to leave it.

Great idea for a video, Leonard. Is that brush flexible? It seems like the floor would need to be perfectly flat to get the best results.

No, but the bristles are long enough that it makes contact. Believe me, if uneven floors had a king, it would be my house. My house sucks!

In theory it's supposed to go back to where it started, but it doesn't always.

Hey buddy, excellent demonstration on the w400. I am shocked how well it navigates despite not having a camera or Lidar system. Do you find it hard to clean the brush roll 🤔. For some reason mine always seem to grow some mildew despite washing it very well and letting it air dry for 24 hours. Do you have any tips and tricks Robot GOD aka Mr. Roombato. PS: I like your channel name very clever 😁

Thank you, but you're supposed to be too young to even know the reference. :P And you are the robot god, I am just an uppity upstart! I've never actually had a problem with mold or mildew, and I don't dry the brush. I just use it to mop then put it away wet and dirty. I only clean it when I want to mop again. I used to clean it after every mopping, but then, well, you know how it goes!

@@MrRoombato Interesting and it doesn’t smell after awhile 🧐. Are you using any chemicals to clean your robot or while running the robot. Maybe it just me and mine just seem to smell off.

​@@RobotMasters I just use the cleaner bottle that came with it. To clean the brush, I just run the faucet over it and run my hand back and forth in what my wife considers an obscene gesture. It dries out pretty fast. But it's very dry here in the winter (at least this winter) and we use IR heating, so maybe that's why.

Yes. I have a video out on the W450. It’s much more efficient and precise, but it can sometimes get off track. The video explains and demonstrates.

I don't know that I can. Missing spaces is normal, the navigation on these is not the best, but running slower than normal could be an indication of something wearing out. I would contact iLife customer service, if such a thing exists.
