It makes sense if you think about it, Cobalt is blue, so it’s a blue dragon, Weiss means white in German and Yiddish, so it’s white tiger, black shell is obviously black turtle, so I don’t think PhoenixWing is a member of the group, it doesn’t have a color in the name, and in the mythology it was never actually stated to be a Phoenix it was called the Vermillion Bird Suzaku, so the actually Beyblade name would probably be like VermillionBird of VermillionFlame to complete the group, honestly I think Bird might have this Beyblade, what he’s doing now clearly isn’t working for him so switching it up could do him some good fs, anyway I’d like to here more theory’s but I just wanted people to have this info❤

Yeah that makes sense since the bey name are reversed from what we know before. Like DRAN-sword, HELL-scythe, KNIGHT-shield, so it made sense for it to be COBALT-drake, and now COBALT-dragoon.

IK it's weird but the lines name is Cobalt, with the beyblade X naming scheme the first word is the name of the line while the second word is a weapon or a animal part or something else examples being "DRAN Sword" "DRAN Dagger" "WIZARD Arrow" "WIZARD Rod", it was weird up until now that Cobalt Drake is the only bey to break this convention because it sounds like Drake should be it's name because every other beys line is named after a creature or person or... hell I guess, but it turns out "Cobalt" is it's name not "Drake/Dragoon", so this is "COBALT Dragoon" while the previous was "COBALT Drake" so the Cobalt line seems to be all named after dragons I imagine we could get a "Cobalt Wyrm" I did think Wyvern but it is already taken.

@@nuc Btw with Cobalt Dragoon, Black Genbu, and Weiss Tiger all being revealed, and teams in Beyblade X only having three members, what do you think about the Red Phoenix, aside from being references to the original series those were chosen because they are the Four Auspicious Beasts of real life legend, is Phoenix Wing the Red Phoenix or do you think there may be another character to carry the spiritual successor to Dranzer, and if so where are they, I wouldn't question this if Cobalt Dragoon, Black Genbu, and Weiss Tiger weren't more direct references to the Auspicious Beasts who were named Blue Dragon, Black Turtle, and White Tiger, and of course Red Phoenix.

The release is nice, but I don't get why CobaltDragoon does not have painted metal. If anything, they should have not painted the metal for CobaltDrake, and instead, released the blue paint for this evolution. Because now it kind of looks like an aesthetic downgrade

Cobalt Dragoon, Black Shell and Weiss Tiger seems to be based on the 4 cardinal direction holy beasts. Common misconception about them is that Scarlet Bird is Phoenix but they are not one and the same. So maybe in the future, we'll get the real "isekai'd" Dranzer, with the similar design motif as the other 3. Of course i could be wrong! Maybe the new variation of Phoenix will have that design. Imagine if Bird gets the Scarlet Bird bey tho, that would fit him in both color and naming scheme.
