Such a fun challenge. A book over one thousand pages sounds daunting. I can only think of a few books that I have read that fit that criteria.

Hardbacks and paperbacks count as different sizes! Haha A Court of Mist and Fury should deffo be a standalone 😂 This is a super fun tag! I shall have to give it a go in a few weeks so I forget the prompts! I think the Chaos Walking series should count, SSF goes together, so it counts in my mind A Game of Thrones isn't over 1000 pages, but A Dance With Dragons is!

LOL- it's funny you mention that because LOTR is possibly my biggest TBR book/series. I haven't read a single on of those or even *brace yourself* seen a single one of the movies. Hoping to binge them soon also I am going to watch your video right now I'm excited hahaha

Have you read any Julian May? The Saga of The Exiles and The Galactic Milieu series are the best series I've ever read and I've re read them over half a dozen times. Julian May was incredibly knowledgable and had a background in science and the arts. You could start with the middle book in the series INTERVENTION or the first book THE MANY COLORED LAND, the series is cyclical. There are a large group of fans that KNOW this is one of the best sci fi series ever. It's supremely inventive with smart characterisation and an incredible plot. There's no audio book, sadly Julian died a few years ago, she was a master.

You are so right- well loved it is!! And the finger aliens actually came from a very cool place- the Edwards Air Force Base out here in California. I went there for a field trip for this group I was a part of and that was my souvenir of choice while everyone else got things more related to the place 😂

@@iLiviesimone Yes, I did. Once in my native tongue (Italian) and once in English. I loved it to bits up to the fourth season. The books are so great I decided to read them all despite the fact that the author might not get round to finish the saga. I think you'd like them too, if you liked the show.
