WOW! I was expecting that without the original members, Ill Nino's new band members were not going to make a good work to grasp the magic in Chris's voice and the Latino-style drums! I thought it was going to be bad. But I was wrong! This is good! The vocalist is worth being a member of the band and he knows the magic behind the singing style of Chris. @@mffl7277 so have loads of bands of this time. Other bands that were better in the first place have aged terribly, too. Mudvayne, Korn, Limp Bizkit, Slipknot; all sound fucking boring and old and tired and started that decline years ago for some of them. Don't get me wrong, this isn't dark side of the fucking moon or anything but I feel they deserve a lot of credit for keeping energy, plus Dave Chavarri must be like 90 years old by now and other bands replace their drummers so actually fair play for keeping edge, that isn't easy when you've been a band for so long ✌️

Totally agreed! When listened this for the first time - it was like focken time machine, it sounds recognizable but fresh and powerful at the same moment. Looks like we got the same age, cuz i'd listened all the bands that u said before, and u are absolutely right about them. Well this was a surprise! for the last few months, and especially now in the midst of this coronavirus thing, I had completely forgotten about Ill Nino’s deal with over half of the band leaving (including the singer) and then getting a new one and that turning out to be an issue...but now (according to that article on blabbermojth and prob other sites) they are all cool with it.

Truth... but Marcos is not just awesome, both live and in studio, but was SUPER cool both times I saw him in Shattered Sun. One of which was ironically a show with Ill Niño in Des Moines, IA. I actually shouted "HELL yeah!" out loud when I saw he was Christian's replacement.

I need to admit...I was assuming that Ill Nino was not ok with a new vocalist and I came here to see for myself. What can I say? I'm leaving this page with a big like in this fucking button. Insane. Ill Niño is not over, Cristian Machado neither (as Lions at The Gate are promissing too). So now we have 2 good bands out there. This is great!
