I can tell you! The band disbanded years ago and the leader and founder, Izzy Grey, is working on new music in her new project called Bikini Island Waves (there are some videos on KZbin of Izzy playing the new track demos. Just search for Bikini Island Waves China White for example.) Bikini Island Waves consists of Izzy and myself, Lil’ Lion aka Ivettie Hip Hips. Unfortunately, progress has halted for Bikini Island Waves a couple of years ago due to unfortunate circumstances…, we got all our equipment stolen and the person who did it sold it all (yup…. $6,000 Moog synth gone) so we’d have to build our studio up from scratch, Izzy’s audio engineer and best friend, Phil, died (may have been murdered) and we were using his expensive studio and home to record and live at and his widow immediately sold all of Phil’s equipment and wouldn’t let us get the tracks that had been recorded on his computer so all progress was lost and now we have to start from square one, and much more…. So basically, we would need a wealthy patron to fund the project at least until we can get signed and start making money so we can survive and make music… cuz we’d need a place to live, a place to put the studio in, food, basic resources to survive, medicine, etc…. Basically we’d need a miracle to make music again and perform lol. If someone would help us out I am 99% sure their investing on us would pay off and we’d be able to support ourselves and keep making music and art regularly pretty soon. If you or anyone you know would be willing to help in any way (connections, money, etc.) pls let me know 🙏 it makes me happy to see people still recognize Izzy and her amazing talent and still be fans that want to hear and see more from her!!! If anyone deserves to make it in the music industry, it’s her. Oh and I’m Izzy’s fiancé and band mate in Bikini Island Waves ✌️ there is only two people as official members in the new band haha.
