Massive thankyou. Spent a year building the CNC and this was a very useful addition. Followed it all the way through to success. Thanks for being exceptionally clear in everything you presented. (Oh ... and Sub'd)

very helpful video, but can you tell me exactly what kind of material you use for milling! Thank you very much, wish you a very happy and healthy new year

Very nice video. Subscribed. One question: how do you connect the touch plate to use only one wire?

Awesome thank you.What grade aluminium were you cutting?

good video, great quality picture & sound , just a thought though , 15mm walls on the probe means there is a lot of mass overhanging your work piece , a thinner wall , say 5mm would make it more stable when you actually come to use it as a touch plate

Thankyou very much. And yes your total right after using the plate I would prefer a thinner wall.

Great work, thanks a lot. On F360 selecting Preferences - Default Modeling Orientation - Z up the F360 XYZ axes will match the Workbee axes. This could help.

Nice video thanks, could you use the probe with fusion/ugs also or only mags?

Yes I plan to have details for UGS and other Grbl controllers in a future video.

What type of feed rates are you running with on this machine?

New video dropping in a minute with feeds and speeds used for Aluminum

Hows the power on your spindle? I keep seeing on forums the 110v 2.2kw spindle is crap.
@IllDoItMyself4 жыл бұрын
Honestly on a machine like this the 2.2k 110v will never be your limiting factor. In my experience it has ample power!

@@IllDoItMyself glad to hear it. I am assembling my workbee right now, appreciate the videos

Did you say 2,400 rpm?
@IllDoItMyself4 жыл бұрын
Oh wow your right!! 24,000 RPM it should have been. I'll add a page to the video. Thanks for pointing that out!
@davecoggan96193 жыл бұрын
I've never seen a DeWalt router ran at 24,000rpm before with aluminium. That's number 5 on the speed control. I've only ever ran at number 1 at around 600mms. With a 1/4" bit. I'm eager to try but don't fancy snapping or welding an endmill lol

I enjoyed your content and the music was distracting. I could barely hear you talking over the music.

Thanks for the feedback. I have improved in future videos I hope!
