They respond to all kinds of things based on "3rd party information". That is the number one source for nearly all police responses. TIPS. Tips with film and a legacy of accuracy,... they should have responded by parking at the entrance and calling state police, and neighboring sheriffs dept's for backup.

@SHARK IN addition to the obvious cruelty & criminality of these cock fights, according to research, there is another aspect I don't often hear spoken about. Cock fighting and the people who frequent these events can also pose an additional risk to the backyard chicken/homesteading communities by way of spreading the avian bird flu. Too much to type out here, but if you rely, value and generally care about your backyard flock, you should be against these cruel rooster massacre events that happen mostly out in the exact areas honest homesteading families/folks live. Unfortunately, the cock fighting community goes back to many generations and too many people still defend it. The environment it attracts and creates is not good for anyone except those who choose to participate and benefit in some way.

I don't see how the drone video proves cock fighting!?! All it shows is a field of vehicles and a barn! Family gathering? Reunion? Birthday party? So any field with multiple vehicles is now considered something illegal is going on? Also not sure what you expected the officers to do, they can't enter private property without a warrant, its called trespassing!

They should have been watching the property, but the fact is they almost certainly know about this criminal operation in detail. Also, our footage includes birds being held in cages outside. This operation has been going for a while. This wasn't the first time by a long shot.

It’s a good thing to remember that these kinds of operations make sure that the local law enforcement is taken care of. I am not implying that they get paid off with money but I am implying that they get paid off in different ways. It may be a contribution to a picnic hosted by law enforcement or it could be someone is a relative of an individual who is in law enforcement in that area. If someone involved in cockfighting owns a business, they take care of the cops with discounts or outright gifts . Dirty cops are easy to find they are everywhere in the United States usually there’s not good video like this showing how many vehicles were there and what was going on. Sometimes it’s better to keep some of your information about events like this in your hip pocket. I wouldn’t be surprised you got the license plate numbers of people leaving that event. There’s a good chance that there were politicians at that event.
