As white #2 gets the ball back from the wing and attempts to drive to the basket, white #21 comes from the post area and initiates contact with the defender. This contact does not give the defender an opportunity to stop or change direction and prevents normal defense. The center does a great job of following the moving player from his area and correctly responding on this play. The trail official was late transitioning his eyes to the defender and screener and doesn't respond. This is a great example of why screens are a 2 referee play and a great job by the center protecting the crew.
