I am a huge fan of having limo tint all around on vehicles. Helps in hot climates, avoids awkward interactions and looks really nice from the outside! But take the risk and don't blame me if you get pulled over :)

I’ve ran 5% tint on all my cars never been pulled over for it. Even when I get pulled over and the cops try to look in and can’t see anything they haven’t said anything yet. I live in northern Idaho so maybe that’s why. Cops are pretty chill here as long as you aren’t endangering other people and driving like a maniac they don’t care about mods.

I always associated extremely dark tint with shady characters, so i prefer 20% 35% in the back and I own a 2020 GTI, but here in Chicago the cops are wayyy too busy for tint stops especially in the city

Got my 2019 Miata RF with 50% Llumar on the windshield. 3M color stable 20% on the sides & limo on back. The difference in heat rejection is insane. Plus inward visibility is extremely hard, only when you’re right next to the window can you get a glimpse. I personally wouldn’t go any darker than that or I’d feel a little too sketch with cops.

I've had cops that were super chill. Had a CR-Z once with a loud cat back exhaust. Pulled me over for speeding, didn't say a peep about the limo tint. Started it up after he dismissed me and it popped really loud. He stopped in his tracks, but then kept walking lol. I once had a cop though when I had my 95 Celica, and he literally did rounds with that damn car. Busted me for every little damn thing. Claimed he pulled me over for not having a front plate (was in Ohio at the time, now in AZ where that's not required), even though he was behind me the entire time before his lights went on. Even wrote me up for lightly tinted clear side blinkers for frick's sake. It's a gamble. Good vid.

Depends on where you live if your driving in Gilbert they will pull you over for anything If your driving in maryvale they have much bigger things to be looking out for than window tint I had limo on my car back when I was a teenager never did it again cause at night couldn’t see shit out the front windows constantly had to put the windows down got cumbersome Also the blockage of uv light in correlation to darkness of tint is not as it seems Full limo tint blocks the same uv light as about 40-30% it just seems like it does to your eyes and obviously your mind will let you feel what is desired placebo effect

for everyone considering 5% tint. about a week ago i put another layer of 20 over the side windows left the back 20 so the sides are 4% basically 5, as well as a 5% brow about 6 inches below as1 line. in the day it is great you can’t really be seen at all unless it’s from the back of the car looking through windshield you can make out figures but unless the sun is shining on windshield it’s tough to see in any angle. at night yes i will say it is kind of difficult....until you get used to it then you know your car a little better and have a decent fee for the windows. headlights can still be seen through the windows and that’s about it in low light conditions. as far as cops i have yet to be pulled over . when i do see cops at an intersection i roll fronts down but you have to be quick bc it can be obvious that you’re doing it in order to not have windows shown. i would say go for the 5 it is great you will not regret it one bit....unless you get pulled over 😂

I don't have much concern about dark as hell windows. I just did 35% all around here in Nevada in Ceramic. I'd rather see at night what's going on around me. I get it if I was doing blow or getting blown in my car during the day while driving I probably would prefer darker tint. I don't do that, so why worry about it? I am not a freaky kid doing freaky things in my car and not freaking out about total privacy! All I want is to not to be blinded by the freaking sun and my 🚗 not having a green house affect during summer and winter months. I don't grow weed in my 🚗 so who needs it?

I have 5% all around with 35% on my windshield. I love it. When its sunny out you can see right through the windshield so I have no problems with cops. When its cloudy you cant see in through any window and its soo awesome lol btw I have a sunroof so when I open that up it lets in a ton of light. If I didnt have a sunroof idk if I would have gotten the 5% on my front 2 windows. Overall the rise is 100% worth it !!!!

I first went with 30%, but I felt it was too light so now I have 15% to match the rear and I really like it; I have no difficulties at night with it. I'm considering 5%,, and I'm sure I would love it, but my parents occasionally use my vehicle, and I would sure as heck get pulled over by state troopers when traveling to another city. So, you sold your MazdaSpeed for a WRX? Interesting. I have a white FR-S with black wheels and a tint. It's 20% all 'round & I've never been hassled about it. Of course, I'm 72 yrs old, so cops pretty much leave me alone. When I had my silver Honda Civic Hatchback, I had the same tint all 'round. I did get stopped in Utah, supposedly for the tint, but I doubt he could see it. I had the windows rolled down when he came up to the car. When he saw white-haired me, his attitude got friendly and chatty. He gave me a warning, as the tint also (barely) exceeded Utah's rules. Surprisingly, in Calif. I've never been stopped after 6 years in my FR-S. I do drive - er - briskly, too. I don't cut people off, so that's not a factor.

5% tint the windows is too dark for me you can’t see anything else your windows left right when you’re backing up don’t hit pedestrians when you’re driving don’t hit pedestrians 5% tint windows stupid. They are definitely a hazard. Thumbs down 👎

First of all, tinted windows are simply not necessary on cars, trucks, or ANY vehicles, save security vehicles & transports. Having tinted windows just enables motorists the opportunity to possibly engage in clandestine behavior. In parking lots, when next to a vehicle with tinted windows and trying to back out, it's makes safely seeing oncoming traffic more of a challenge. Tinted windows are especially hazardous for law enforcement, especially when they approach a vehicle during an investigation. A Police Officer should be able to CLEARLY inside a vehicle. Bottomline, they should be illegal. If people are caught with them, they should be required by law to replace the glass at their own expense and pay a hefty fine, if they obtain them after the law enacted.

Got my car tinted a while back got 5 on all sides , I have a coupe and I feel like a real mafia boss playa with the shit maneeeee. People be trying look hard as fuck and when I pull up to a spot people look so I quickly open and close the door to see if they look again and 10/10 times people are nosey

I don’t understand why anyone would want tint this dark. it looks cool but my mom’s truck has 15% and I literally have to roll the windows down at night in order to see around me. and you can see nothing out the rear view mirror because of the reflection of the center screen on the (basically) 90-degree upright rear window.

I have 5% on front + rear and 15% on the windshield. I have no problems at night.

Dark tint is super annoying when you’re trying to use a crosswalk and also not get run over. If a person can’t see you from outside the car you’re definitely making yourself a nuisance and increasing the opportunity to hit somebody at an intersection due to decreased visibility.

really gay with the 'subi'. Its great to have 95% blockage and then talking about how its dangerous for you to drive at night. Then its really small pecker energy by talking about your experience cutting people off and hiding behind your tint.
