Hi Jacqueline...Thank you for such a wonderful and passionate reaction. Lucy and Martha are two earth angels blessed with voices made in Heaven!! Please, please do more Lucy reactions and Martha with Lucy. Every song is a masterpiece when Lucy sings solo and when they duet together. They recently sang "Mary Did You Know" at Christmas and it literally blew my socks off. Out of this world amazing. And Martha has grown up a bit!!

This is just one of the many breath taking duets these gifted young ladies perform but for a must view, I would strongly suggest "THE PRAYER", a more technical and well cover piece, and Lucy and Martha's rendition is in my opinion the very best of them all.

Jacqueline you messed me up playing this song, wrecked by emotional overload. It’s always a struggle to watch this after the first time when I watched this I was a mess in tears without knowing why, and it very nearly caught me again. 😥 Such a powerful song in an innocent binder that can catch us unexpectedly, and make tough grown men cry. 😭 Here Lucy 16 and sister Martha only 11 years old, but such talent and power these 2 girls possess in this masterpiece song. ☺ React next to ‘The Prayer’ which is truly remarkable for it’s complexity. Thanks for the react, and would it surprise you that their mother Louise sings also ??? See and enjoy all three of them in the song/video SMILE..... and see where these 2 girls get their talent. Martha was but 11 here and Lucy was 16 !!!! Beautifully sung !!! Thanks for another Lucy reaction Jacqueline. Lucy is mentoring Martha so lovingly. The girls are obviously very close. I understand their Mum, Louise also has a beautiful voice (to hear all three see/hear "Smile"). A great family doing great things and spreading joy in this world. eTraxx it is not just word it is a FACT, Martha is a very accomplished equestrian and competes in dressage and show jumping and had a very successful summer with a couple of firsts and several high placings in her classes.......and Lucy does NOT ride!!! Something Martha excells in that Lucy does not, a girls thing, Martha not having to compete with older sister !!

Martha may not yet have the magical quality her big sister has, but the basic vocal talent is there in spades! Listening to any of their duets is a treat, just keep in mind that Lucy is more than 5 years ahead of Martha regarding experience and practice. On the flip side, Martha gets a massive head start by having a sister like Lucy as a role model, someone to learn from and emulate... Lucy's voice has a magical, bright quality that makes her special, but little Martha (not so little anymore, she is really blooming these days) is rapidly catching up. What I like best is their loving interaction! No sibling rivalry going on, just mutual love and respect.

Halli I have to Give Martha all the credit in the world for having the guts to sing with Lucy and not be intimidated, they started out rather shaky on their first 2 songs wit little Martha only 10, being basically drowned out, then came You Raise Me Up where Martha got some solo time then When you Believe, where Martha lead off and really got into the song, that smile she had and the belting out the song seemed to cement her abilities and now we have the rest of the songs where she always gets some solo time. Martha has a beautiful voice and we have to remember she is 5 years and 8 months behind Lucy in development, so not to compare them but appreciate Marthas quality and talent for her years and her even singing with Lucy !!! She is NOT intimidated by Lucy !!!

FYI when this song was released Dec 2 2020 Martha was 11 years and 1 month old Her birthday is Nov 4 2009 Lucy was 16 her birthday is Feb 21 2004 and she was 16 when this was released, she turned 17 on the following Feb 21........

I discovered Lucy (and Martha) almost a year ago now, so started my trip down the rabbit hole. I don't wow easily. Last time was Jackie Evancho when she was a young prodigy. She didn't have the parental foundation that the Thomas girls have. Sadly, she wondered off the path, in my opinion. Her early fame contributed to her family breaking up. Lucy and Martha would make any grandfather busting with pride 😉(I'm almost 71). Again, thanks for the correction Wilbur.

As a note any of Lucy's video's if you go to the written heading and click on the word MORE, more info comes up like the date posted and usually some info on the song and I listed their birth dates above so easy to tell age. and I got those dates from Lucy's facebook on both their birthdays. just trying to help and keep all the info accurate. FYI I am leaning on 83 real heavy and have enjoyed Lucy for about 2 1/2 years and have become a rabid fan and supporter. WF

They are magnificent this is about 3 years old try some of the newer ones to see Martha's and Lucy's development. Their latest is "Mary Did You Know" or "What A Wonderful World" but their version of "The Prayer" about a year after this one is exceptional. Martha only does two maybe three duets a year And in February 2023 Mom Louise who also sings joined them for Mothers Day Uk and they sang "Smile" You see where they get the talent from.

As impressive as this rendition is they have progressed noticeably since this performance. Their performance of "The Prayer" is epic, unsurpassed, in my pinion. As far as Lucy's singles goes just pick your favorite female artist songs from the list and Lucy slays it. Not to mention the originals that she sings for the upcoming musical, some of which are very difficult to sing.

Mary Did You Know *and* When You Believe are their best duets both are fantastic, I liked The Prayer too but for me I'm sorry I have to agree with that opera singers reaction in that I thought their Italian diction sounded a little bit awkward especially Martha's and for my money the Jonathan & Charlotte version of that song is still the best, each to their own though. Lucy's high belt over Martha's more matured lower tones in Mary Did You Know is simply sensational, one of the most heavenly experiences to ever grace my ears.

Jacqueline, I haven't seen a reactor yet who didn't utter "WOW!" during Lucy's videos. Sometimes that wow comes after just a couple of notes. Sibling harmony has a different quality to it; possibly the genes. I saw you turn your head and look at your arm when the chills hit. Lucy can bring chills and tears when I watch her. Glad you see her talent (along with Martha's too).
