No, why does everyone expect illenium only to make normal melodic drops? Its a collab, which means they both worked on the song together. No one takes credit for just one part of a song. Nick has already made so many heavy songs on his own, collabs with excision, wooli, virtual riot, crankdat. His intro of his latest shows is a mashup of his most famous songs, which transforms in Feel something building up and drops into a Feel something remix by Illenium himself. You should listen to it. Nick himself said that he fell in love with electronic music again, we already got 2 heavy songs this year by him and a couple dance songs. Another ID with Rezz is yet to release. He has as much dubstep knowledge as any other producer in this genre lol, this new song with crankdat is spectacular designed, might be my new favourite after years of feel something lol

I know how a collab works and I know they both worked on it, no matter which drop we're talking about, but the first one brings a Illenium-vibe and the second one brings more a crankdat-vibe, it's just that, I wasn't criticizing or anything. I follow Nick's works for years now, no only his songs but his shows too, so I know how he digs into heavy songs, specially live. but Crankdat doesn't dig too much into melodic drops, as far as I know, that's why I made that comment
