Hi everyone, I’m Cole Rolland. I’m a professional guitarist and music producer from Toronto, Ontario. @Darkwraith I don't know for sure, but if you like those you should check out Tom Morello (Rage Aganist the Machine). He used to do those. Also, if you'd like to play them search a video like "How to do Tom Morello trick" or something.

It's just a reverse pick slide, he is hitting a kill switch which cuts audio to give a choppy sound. Bucketheads song Jordan really popularized the technique.
