simply unbelievable what the mountain is losing in terms of material! so so obvious; more than the normal everyday erosion caused by wind and weather! and even with this viscous mass, a backflow or suction develops under the fall - impressive.

Radionut R its not that they are floating but rather flowing. the momentum of the water plus the debris inside the flow has enough force to move huge boulders, which then add to the force of the flow, thus increasing this effect even more so. wiki "debris flow" if you want to know more about these types of events.

A mudflow, or Murgang how many in the alps call it, can reach a density of up to 2.6 times higher than pure water, 2.6g/cm³. Stones are usually in the range of 2-3.3g/cm³ which makes them really light in the mudflow. Add the high velocity and a stone is easily moved. And yes, some float.

da sieht man wiedermal wie stark wasserkraft ist. wenn ich das video in HD bei 0.25 geschwindigkeit anschaue, sehe ich sowas wie blaue kugelblitze, besonderst zwischen 1:46 bis 1:50... kann mir jemand bestätigen dass er das auch sieht... könnte ja durch reibung eine spannung entstehen die sowas auslöst, aber ehrlich gesagt keine ahnung.
