Lil bit of context for the MV, 'Sarangnee' in Korean means wisdom teeth, which also symbolize 'first love' there cause wisdom teeth usually grow between the ages of 18-25, around the first time we start developing feelings for someone. I feel like the way that the song is constructed, the fact that it sounds empty gives room to hear the vocal melodies they do which adds on to the haunting factor. It kinda gives me the same feeling as ditto by newjeans, it’s kinda like a nostalgia factor associated with it as well.

Yes! We're starting to differentiate the members' voices much better now through their content and the producers are not overly layering their vocals in the comeback. I think is song is catchy too, but in the vocal sections. Magnetic (to me) was more about rhythm and instrumentals. Minju's vocals carried! I also love how they're keeping the dream-like concept going. Magnetic was a good dream, this is a dream you get when you eat too much sugar before going to sleep 😥

I actually really liked the song, but I have a gripe with it that is honestly not exclusive to Illit - I really wish they delivered their lines with more energy? I LOVED the melodies in this song and the haunting feeling you mentioned, but I couldn't help but think that I would have liked the song a lot more if they sang it more strongly and openly. That's what I think is really missing for me 😅

it's an artistic choice. They uploaded the BTS of their first album's recording, in it you can see that the members, specifically Yunah,get told that they have to sing in a less strong manner, that their voice is too strong. idk why they do it, but I guess it's just how they want it to be, soft, sweet and nostalgic

My thoughts: the song was just ok, a more ballad style to magnetic. Idk, seemed very generic to me, but it’s a nice song. It sounds a bit too “young” for me too. I also absolutely hated the “even god can’t stop me” it was so cringe 😭 I liked the talking in magnetic tho. Idk, they worked hard, it’s a good song, it’s just not for me. Also rlly nice vocals!!
