For example, when SNSD performed on a Japanese TV show (Hey! Hey! Hey! I think it was), the preview of the episode showed them singing with their mics EXTREMELY LOUD, like no doubt about a solid live vocal, but when the episode aired, their mics were practically muted, and a lot of fans were disappointed that production decided not to air their live vocal as it was shown in the teaser.
