The mention of “taking childish things” and “stuffing them in a closet” to make others like them is reminiscent of how people initially didn’t like their concept and hoped for a darker, girl-crush esque concept. Tick-tack is the perfect song for ILLIT, showing a quirky and playful side to the girls as well as darker undertones. As they said, “there’s a lot to look forward to, this is just the beginning”.
