I personally don't see it as inappropriate at all, I feel like it embodies the frustration with having a crush. Specifically someone's first crush, it's confusing at first. I do see how "gotta touch you now" can be seen as wrong, but considering the context of the song I see it as wanting to sit close to your crush, wanting to hold their hand and such. "u wanna make me scream, you're so good at that" also is an innocent lyric, I think it's just people being used to inappropriate lyrics and subconsciously view most sentences as such. It definitely stand for wanting to scream in frustration because you confuse me with mixed signals. You know. Teens also have sex for one. And for two unlike "LIKE THAT" I interpreted this song veery differently, and with high potential to be viral even - I interpreted it as someone going through a hormonal, almost toxic relationship that goes on and off. So i either snubbed the sex orinterpreted it as part of THAT CONCEPT. Coz being "down bad" can also mean that ou're attracted to someone (romantically) so much even thouh it's hurtng you, and "make you scream" can also mean upsetting someone to a level of cardiac arrest, both fitting. So ig.... I think this song is fine honestly.
