Trying to set up your man in order to test him to see if he's loyal? Bad idea. Using your best friend to test him? Even worse. Allowing them to spend time alone? The worst idea you've ever had. This is a very stupid idea, regardless of the outcome. Even if he is loyal, you still risk sabotaging your relationship with a good man, and you could very well lose him.

Even if he is loyal, he's almost guaranteed to dump you when he finds out that you tested him this way. There are three non-negotiables that all good men require in a relationship: trust, respect and loyalty. This test throws trust and respect right out the window. If he finds out you put a friend up to trying to seduce him, he'll know you don't trust him, and if you've been dating exclusively for 3 years (the amount of time the characters in the story were together), he'll be thinking "If she still doesn't trust me after all this time, then she has trust issues, and she's not worth the effort to overcome them, if that's even possible." At that point, no amount of tears and apologizing will get him back.

I can’t believe there are people who think loyalty is basically a form of enslavement. Promising to share a life with someone and accept them as your only romantic partner isn’t a prison sentence. It’s a symbol of how much someone means to you, and that you mean it when you say that out of all people they could’ve chosen to make their partner with whom they start a family and a new life, that they are the only one who makes them feel things no one else does or can even come close to. Since the 2 best friend were in on this together with a set up, that meant she is expected to give her best friend a free pass. It is like her giving her best friend permission to steal her boyfriend just so that they can use that blaming game against her boyfriend. It works for these 2 because the boyfriend is weak minded. Now if any of these were to do this to me, I would of said let me see you get approval from your best friend first. I would challenge them. Chances are, a person who did the recording would be forced to cancel the recording because it would prove that her best friend would be doing the red flag stuff and I know her best friend will cover up each other's wrongdoings. Any man that is smart would of said let me see you get permission. If I were him, I would of said if you want to convince me to be with you, get approval from my girlfriend and let me hear you ask you best friend for permission.

If I were in Spencer's position, I would already get suspicious. I can find a way to pass this test. As a matter of fact, I do this to women with boyfriends all the time. I would already say to her let me see you get your best friend's approval first. If a woman have a boyfriend or a husband, I say to her let me see you bring your husband's first then we will talk. Anyone who does loyalty test also cannot initiate a kiss on the lips themselves because if there goal is to expose me, they have to find a way to make me fall for a trap to initiate a kiss. So that way, in case her best friend is secretly setting it up, that will only prove that they are giving each other's free pass on flirting but won't give me free pass. I always wash my hands clean whenever anyone tests me. I challenge them back so that way, they will have no choice but to back off with the shit test. I have no problems rejecting any woman with a boyfriend anyways. If I were Spencer, I would already use this against them because if one plans to cheat and not tell their partner, I would challenge them. I will say to them, bring your best friend over first and then we will talk. That shit test they come up with, they will have no choice but to cancel that. Saying no in to the invitation is how to beat them at their games. I do not have to know if they plan to secretly record me but anyone who plays it smart, the 2 who secretly plans this will have to cancel the recording.
