Just a rought thought: Since acient debris is blast proof it might be possible to use it as a blast shield for a tunnel bore. What I am imagining is a changed tunnel bore that could remove liquids itself by having pistons at the front that push forward (Similar to one of the quarry designs that always pushed 12 blocks along). This might be possible if you can prevent the pistons from blowing up by putting a layer of debris infront of them. Thought I don't know how one would get the tnt past this wall.

These machines take a long time to set up. So unless you're going for an absolutely massive scale, they are not worth it. Remember that would have to clear the top 25 blocks before you can even run this machine. If you would do that by hand, it would be a lot quicker to just mine for the netherite yourself. So you're going to need a tunnel bore to free the space on top and then build this machine. That would already take you at least 10h of playtime in addition to running both machines. @Count Roy Not going to be a problem since the chuncks will be unloaded after you respawn. So I think you technically have infinite time outside of spawnchuncks. Correct me if I'm wrong.

That’s good, but I found that a really good way to find ancient debris is drinking an 8 minute fire resistance potion, then you start strip mining a 2 x 1 hallway while sprinting at y15 with a pickaxe that can insta-mine netherrack. You don’t need to worry about falling because of the low y level, and the fire resistance allows you to run straight through lava. By doing this you expose way more blocks than a bed would in just a few seconds(contrary to what a lot of youtubers say is the most efficient way to mine ancient debris). I got about half a stack of ancient debris in 40 minutes. I’m my opinion, this is the most efficient way to get ancient debris for the average Minecraft player. Great contraption though!

I feel like just tunneling down, and laying lines of tnt would be much faster then this, I had some very good results with it in my initial testing. mine a 2x1 tunnel about 64 blocks, lay TNT all the way out the tunnel, then light the TNT. it takes very little time to set up, and each blast produced Ancient Debris in my testing, with a good creeper farm, and a few good shovels, its not to expensive to do. i feel like a small flying machine tnt dupper, like a 5 way, with 2nd machine to launch tnt forward like a tunnel borer robot may be an effective way to mine it, given its slow, but allows you to move the machine were you want it and clear the lava, large scale is not going to be as effective i think, but i could be wrong
@SiczakHT4 жыл бұрын
By putting TNT in an orderly and strategic way you can cover a large area and find Ancient Debris in much less time than it takes to build such a World Eater.
@lansquenete95364 жыл бұрын
Indeed, Just as Ilmango mentioned, for the average player (or even server) it's not a Worthy investment, since you also have to manually mine clearance on the top for it to have space to work But if you somehow required industrial amounts of it, were to need the clearance for some kind of farm anyway, -or just wanted to flex,- it is a viable option
@Timmzy274 жыл бұрын
Very valid method, I think this world eater is more saying it can be done automatically on a larger scale for a whole server

I do not thing this is effective or efficient

TNT is expensive. TNT dupers are way more resource friendly.
