@helyushd6943

thx for inspiring me: Ilmango HAS to use a similar system to build himself a super flat world in skyblock! You can generate dirt and cobblestone and spread it using flying machines which somehow detect the end of the build platform (maybe check for block push limit). Now you fill in row by row. You can load the flying machine by riding on it, if you use a giant block storage to feed this system, instead of a player requiring farming setup!!! You can use a counting system in the spawn chunks that counts the time the machine needs to return. It would have to count for a very long time (maybe hours) and I suggest you use some math: The idea is to have clocks with different timing. If they happen to fire in the same tick, they activate a AND-gate. Now you can hook any amount of clocks together on such a AND-gate. This system locks for the smallest number dividable by the timings of all clocks. If you use prime numbers the smallest number dividable is the factorial of the timings. If you use 3, 5, 7, 11 , its already 3x5x7x11 = 1155.... you get the idea

@@helyushd6943 If you are talking about a sensor that checks if the "chunk" is filled I was thinking about an observer that activates a clock that if left on for more time than the time it takes for the flying machine to pass trough, stops the machine. if you are talking about other ind of clock... that + a hopper clock is the best I know. i am by far not an expert.

There is actually a much simpler way to negate fall damage. It is enough to fall *through* water to reset your fall damage height. So you can have water on the third Block above the floor (held up with a sign), making your final fall height 2 Blocks (which isn't enough to take damage), while also not having to walk out of the water.

Thinking of the blocks individually and then realising that one section is basically one chest makes you realise how overpowered chest storage actually is. I know there's arguments over chest storage and people wanting the ability to be able to store more in a chest and I just find myself wondering more and more if Mojang could create a new storage device..... possibly a silo structure of some sort? 🤔

This was such an inspirational video. Now I really want to try around with block storages. In general so many things I have been building need two players now that it is so easy to spawn a bot. I really want to change that now. Also this would make one able to no longer rely on TNT duping (or rely on TNT at all) in many cases which is nice. I wonder if it would be possible to extract the blocks afterwards and player-mine them automatically in a second step. I am already imagining a storage for millions of blocks that you could fill over a few days and then empty it out. I guess the end void would be the perfect place for that. I'll definitely try around with that soon. I am guessing it would not be trivial at all but it's a nice challenge. Edit: The end would probably not be the greatest idea since the possibilities for XP farms are limited. Still - it's an exciting concept and I am already having ideas 💡
