What were ilocanos like before colonisation tho
@HoyTaraTravel7 ай бұрын
Prior to the coming of the Spaniards, the coastal inhabitants were called Iloko, which derives from the prefix i, meaning “people of,” and lokong, referring to the low-lying terrain . The Iloko, therefore, are “people who dwell in the lowland,” - there's not much record about the Ilocanos before colonization. www.yodisphere.com/2022/09/Ilocano-People-History-Culture.html

How about Mexican culture? Mexican culture is basically SPANISH. So they dont have "culture"? Philippines is united by Spain. There is no Philippines prior to the arrival of Spain. So please stop insinuating like Filipinos culture is the "precolonial". Its like saying to Mexicans they should go back to their cannibal barbaric pre hispqnic culture. PHILIPPINES IS HISPANIC SOUTHEAST ASIA. Theres no one in the Philippines who practice "pre colonial culture" you are talking about. Thats 500 years ago. Even Filipino tribes dont live in their old culture..
