I feel so sorry for Melody. I know how she feels... But i think she needs to stand up to her mother more, but try dealing with smaller stuff at first, so her mom gets used to Melody having an opinion. After that she's respect her more as an adult. it takes time, but it becomes worth it.

Been in a similar situation at one point just like Colleen where I was just looking out for a gay friend I had not known long thought the world of but let him down by reaching to his friends family etc to ask how he was I wasn't being mean spirited just silly n thoughtless like what Colleen was saying to Morag
