Hi, I am really sorry but I don't understand what you mean. You don't pay any PAYE tax because your income is below the 12,000 personal allowance? Is that what you mean?

Hi, they don't need to be stamped or posted. You can just download them straight from the website/app and upload them onto the website.

Hi, for self employment, you need to show 12 months of income and it sounds like you have that if your tax return covers 2023-2024. Please double check this all with a solicitor though and see what documents you exactly need to submit as it is not a situation we were in and I wouldn’t want to give you the wrong advice.

Currently, if you showed £18,600 on your first entry visa application, then you will need to show £18,600 on the ILR but please double check this in case of any changes by the time of your application

Hey, just quick question. I have two jobs and my second job i work in takeaway. I remember solicitor asking to provide from first application a Statement of Account, Personal bank statements for the 12-month period from self employment and Company Tax Return CT600 etc. But im not self employed, i work for this business and do i need to show this for the extension application?

That’s strange. If you are employed then you just need 6 months of wage slips from both employers (unless you’ve not been with one of them for a full 6 months). Do you work for a family member or anything?

Yeah, so cuz your wife works for a family member, if you want to use her income, she will need to provide further information as though she was the one who owns the business (something along those lines, check with a solicitor) but because your income meets the threshold, just use your cuz it’s so much easier when you’re employed outside of the family.

Hi, I am guessing you are applying for the ILR application? For the entry visa, it is only the sponsors income that is considered. For the extention/ILR, if the applicants wages alone meets the requirements and that is the income you are using then I would not confuse them further with adding your income also.

Hi, yes I have seen the increase 😢. It only affects new applicants so those who are applying for FLR or ILRA will still be under the old £18,600 income threshold which is good news for them. I feel sorry for anyone who marries abroad in the future.

Hi, there is no need to get them stamped and I didn't bother with that this time. Just download them from your online account and upload them directly onto ukvcas. Just remember they need to be either jpeg/jpg, pdf or png files.

Ruks need some advice My wife recieved an email from kuwait about her spouse visa on 4th March 2019. On my wife passport. Their a stamp for UK entry clearance mentioned visa is valid from 6th March 2019. My wife came to UK on 30th March 2019 On my wife biometric card it's showing place and date of issue 27/2/2019 until 6/12/2021 My wife FLR Was issued on 4th December 2021 until 2nd July 2024. My question is when can I apply for my wife ILR as my wife is on a 5 years spouse visa and the Home office issued her 5 years and 3 month visa which I'm ot understanding. I have calculated the months and the 1st biometric was issued for 2 years and 9 months and 2nd biometric card which is issued for 2 years and 6 month. Can anyone please guide me on what I should do next.

I would consider the date she enter the UK, 30/03/2019. So I believe she can apply for settlement from 30/03/2024 up to 2nd July when it expires….

Hi, yes that's right, the always give more on the visas so technically you can apply when she has been on the FLR for 30 months as she will have been in the country for 5 years. But I always say 28 days before expiry just to be in the safe side which is actually 33 months.

Hi, you will still need to show and income of £18,600 for the ILR application. You can show this with just one income (either the sponsor or the applicant) or you can use a combined income.

Hello sister thank you for your help by uploading these videos, there is a question I have with regard to finance requirements for ilr. Have you shown the minimum income threshold of £18600 for all of the 5 years or just the last year when you applied for ilr. I mean did you submit the payslip and bank statements for all those five years or only for the last 1 year or few months before applying for ilr. Thank you

Hi, you don't have to be earning £18,600 for the full 5 years. As long as you can show that you have been earning that over the last 6 months (if employed) before each application then that's all that matters.
