This track is an original rendition of an old standard "Tangerine" by trumpeter/singer Ilya Serov that features Grammy Award - winning percussionist and band leader Poncho Sanchez. The song produced and mixed by Val Gabriel, arranged by Tom Kubis.

This is the type of repertoire for his voice and jazz style. It brings back old Latin rhythms for a new generation, and adds his own sound. The great Nat King Cole recorded two LPs in Spanish (and one song in Portuguese), and immediately became loved, adored by the old generations of Latin Americans (in Latin America). Like 30 years later, Luis Miguel in Mexico recorded old boleros and mariachi music, and it was another great success. Serov can do something similar in English in the US, in Spanish/Portuguese beyond the border. People will love him. More of this, please.
