You should play lumberloon + drags or elixir golem at mid ladder and at 7k+ switch back to hog

I originally made my own version of 2.6, but then I started seeing the meta decks and all of that and I decided I wanted to go with 2.8 because Valkyrie and hog have been one of my favorites cards, but then like 3 months ago I started playing with pekka bridge spam because I was struggling on defending all the mk and ebarbs players, and I got to 6.3k with these two decks, and I’m watching videos on how to get better with both decks, but I feel more comfortable with 2.8 because I prefer cycle decks

Pekka bridge spam is really hard to master, I wouldn't go too hard in playing it. Not saying hog 2.8 is much easier, but you only have to learn interactions for defense, and offense is straightforward. With pekka you have to build very specific pushes on offense for most matchups or else you literally can't break through. Also hog is better in general anyways

I have always loved playing hog, but at one point I was struggling so I watched ian77 and now i can beat 80% of the meta decks pretty consistently. The decks that I still find impossible are golem, lava hound, splashyard and sparky goblin giant

Im running my own version of hog fire cracker. Hog - Firecracker - Knight - Inferno Tower - Ice Spirit - Log - Rocket - Guards It’s a little bit slower in cycle but inferno tower over tesla and guards over skeletons really help against the randomness of mid ladder. My Valk is only level 10 so I use my knight instead, it also helps make the cycle less awkward. I run rocket over fireball because my fireball is low level too and it’s good for cycling on the cards they place in the back for tower damage. I’m around 5700 trophies at level 12 but trying to push 6000 by next season

I was a MK main back in arena 13 until ladder, then I tried 2.6 hog because of Oyassu but I find more comfortable with a Hog-EQ modified (minipekka & cannon ⇆ Valk & Tesla) watching your playstyle, playing tesla may be better against balloon decks but still on lvl 10 compared to my lvl 12 cannon, also minipekka lvl 11 to valk lvl 10. Because of you I can actually pull some wins against pretty midladder decks as MK with pekka or/with Egiant or/with Ebarbs or/with sparky

Currently I am at 5600 trophies and started playing clash roayle again for 2 months now ( or something like that ). Before I stopped playing ( 2 years ago ) I had reached master 2 ( my max ever )I think I was top 1000 in the world for less than a day but it was cool for me.I don't and have almost never played hog type of deck. I am playing bridge spam type of deck ( I learned the different type of decks from you and one other clash royale youtuber by the way ) I usually like to create my own decks from different cards. Just trying different ideas/combos and playing for fun nowdays. Anyway I really like watching your videos beacuse of how good and clean you play your cards and I like the way you comment and give tips as well. Hope you finish top 1 at the end of this season.
