My shadow understands the point of only having one, two or a few good friends. She does not understand to heed red flags about people trying to use others and take your kindness for weakness yet. We are having a huge blow up about being cordial to but not getting immersed in a colleague that had job and police problems, as well as giving or lending $50 or $100 USD here and there to this woman that has a husband, mother, in-laws and extended family that should be asked for any needed fund$. She is an only child and may have to learn some hard lessons, some on repeat. I will be there to catch her if and when she falls when possible. She is letting her empathy interfere with her own goals and our family which I will not tolerate. She has been out on notice that showing appreciation is not having to explain or make apologies and excuses about outcomes that could have been avoided in the first place. Yes, she does understand gratitude. Cheers!

@ As an old person, I can say it doesn’t get better. Women tend to stay intimidated at any age. It’s weird when you walk into a room, and know you make people feel uncomfortable. Even knowing you’re not arrogant, narcissistic, or even believe or agree with how others see YOU. Your self esteem can be low as crap & still be treated bad and bullied for your appearance. 👏🏻 Keep doing you on here. We like you!
