Please don't apologize for sharing your feelings and experiences. People can fast-forward or click off if they don't wanna listen. But for people like me who have struggled with addictions, listening to someone else's story is like going to a meeting. You help people when you share what you've been through. I'm 14 years sober but I had decades of chaos and destruction before, I believe, the Lord intervened and saved my life - plus lessening the burdens of countless people around me. Listening to this song reminds me of my past chaos and helps me to stay sober today. That's all I have to do is stay sober for today. Tomorrow is the same thing - just stay sober today. I believe you already know this considering you're celebrating 5 years!!! That's awesome, JB. Great job!!

This guy is real, he is just an old country boy, singing his truth. Kind of reminds me of the old folk singer song writers back in the 30s and 40s. He has an old soul.

First time is the hardest. ( listening to every song of Oliver Anthony's) All his songs take me back to my yesterday's. It's times like this when one's faith is tested. I've been sober for 29 years now. Retired Merchant marine ( old salty Sailor)😏 Just keep the faith in god and mean it. You have a good heart and smile. See you when you get home. 😎👍✝️🗽🇺🇸🇺🇲🇺🇸🇺🇲 Hopefully lord willing 😅 Later than sooner.

A man of few words, says it plain and simple, just his voice, guitar and a cell phone. The woods is his recording studio and the dogs are his back up (band). I have watched his videos roaming his land, talking to us in 2 feeds, he's as real as you can get. Thank you for reacting to this man and congratulation on your sobriety.

Being honest and open with the people around you is so hard, but so powerful! I’m not necessarily a country fan, but a huge Oliver Anthony fan. He is a special person, and a true artist. He has certainly made me think about Faith, and he has a special talent. Thanks for sharing. We all would be a lot better off if we would focus on our similarities rather than our differences.

I know this is going to sound weird. But I've been through hell and back throughout my life. And I'm legit scared. I'm scared of all the things I'd be able to accomplish if I'd be sober. Cause I've always had something weighing down on me. First it was gambling. Now it's been alcohol for more than two years. Now I'm on the verge of a breakthrough and getting rid of all of it. I don't have excuses anymore. I had to relieve my stress due to losing my mother, my grandmother, taking care of my dad, and, in the end, losing him. Now I'm all alone and have zero direction. All I have is my sense-numbing stuff and a crapton of inner strength that has never faded through all the trash that I've experienced. I want to project that energy onto something great. I hope I find my way when I finally get completely sober.

20 years of booze, pills, and needles. I lost everything. My family, my wife, my kids, my job. Then one night while drinking heavy plus doing pills I found myself in the middle of the living room with the lights off and I .357 mag in my mouth. God put his hand on my shoulder and showed me what would happen with my children if I pulled the trigger........ I've been clean and sober for 14 years Stay strong God has your back!!

Hi. Oliver has hit the world with a sledgehammer he seems to be heaven sent a man with a guitar a few words and the truth shakes the world. I've watched countless reactors from all around the world to his music, its inspirational God has touched this man and sent him on a mission. Oliver also starts his concerts with a Bible verse.
