Actually, fun fact for you. The first cell phone was made in 1973. They weren't very common, most people didn't have access to them. It was in the mid 80s when people started to use cell phones more widely. Obviously they were more like heavy bricks and not super practical at first but once the 90s came they started becoming more practical, looking much like walkie talkies. And technically the first touchscreen phones were from the early 90s but they didn't become popular until around 2007 ish. There's my fun facts lol, I know quite a bit about old electronics.

In the 70s when the first cell was invented, they weren't for commercial use and were very short distance, probably more similar to walkie talkies. They were very expensive but not very good. 1983 was when cell phones were first sold for commercial use. Mostly, they were just for rich people (they costed around $11,000 in current money value). A lot of people I have talked to about it said they got their first cell phone from 1997 to 2001. Since I was not around at the time, I obviously don't have all the facts and details but I try my best to do the research I can. From what I understand, cell towers were only around Chicago from the late 70s to 1983 and they were experimental. And in Japan as well. In 1983 there were around 20,000 people using cell phones and the number kept climbing yearly. Thank you for your comment :) Its very cool to hear about!

They're a new game company based in Belgium so I'm not that surprised at both the quality of the game and the weird dialogue choices/verbal pacing. That said I also hope that they take criticisms to heart and bring out some patches to improve things because as a concept this game is incredible. It just needs some polishing. Fact is that a majority of animals we consider herbivores are more like opportunistic omnivores, just including the animals from this game elephants, giraffes, moose, hippopotamus and zebra have all been observed eating meat in one way or another, with giraffes known for sucking on bones for their nutrients Hippos are closer to omnivores than they are to herbivores and will go out of their way to hunt down and eat other animals (unlike most of these which are more, if they find a baby bird they aren’t not going to eat it)

Eating the occasional bird or other isn't really enough to classify animals like moose, zebra, and giraffes as pure omnivores, those animals are still primarily herbivores since they still predominantly eat like grass and stuff. They won't go out of their way to find meat, but if they find some, they probably won't pass it up. Eating too much meat actually makes them sick if I remember correctly. Since their intestines/stomachs aren't built for it.

Tbh this game has potential, but the ending is a bit too rushed. Then again the scriptwriter passed away so that's too bad. Even so, there should at least be consideration and well-thought given to it instead of trying to finish it in one fell swoop. @@YourBelowAverageNoob I would give the origins of the parasite, how Mother came to being, maybe giving the players a logbook of the Doc's experiments. Maybe giving more depth to CJ and Sarah as well, to the point where Paul and Sarah will work together to escape (unlike the instant ending where Paul just got the poison for the mother and for some reason 'they have to be alive for the poison to work' and stuff). Also there was another guy in the meat storage right? What if that character can help as well? Also who knows how many humans are in the meat storage? We gotta know somehow... right? Like I feel like for a big zoo, it doesn't seem to have a lot of plot(?) rooms to explore, which I think is missed opportunity since it's supposed to be a research/lab centre and discovering new places with different roles might help expand the game world more. I'm fine about bad and good ending, but a bit of epilogue where Doc hires another clueless guy to replace Paul in the bad ending could add a nice touch too, seeing that's how he feeds his pet

From the PDA it seems that they don't realize what's happening to them, which means their transformation might be subtle. But Paul's transformation seems so fast, we only see his symptoms where his skin changed and he pukes a lot, but none of the behavior changes. Which brings me to the Doc's logbook, where we may know what parasite is inside Paul (it could be a different parasite from the ones the co-workers have with different effects), not to mention the animals' role in this. Like why are the animals there? To test if they become mutants? To test the parasite's effect? To become feed for the Mother? Or any other role? I feel like it needs further explanation and I can see the scriptwriter might have in mind about those things, seeing how detailed the meds and the parasite mating behaviors are
