Cut off the wiring harness odb port. Put in some crimp male female connectors. The vans are taken via the odb. You reconnect as and when you need steel plates to the rear door wiring harness. These are cut and your van simply unlocks. Would have ghost alarm installed like somebody suggested. These vans are weak all round. So nice thick ply lining. Theives open them up like sardine cans. Both mine and a fellow colleagues were broken into. I purchased a highline crafter last year because of the volume of spares I carry for gas & electric. Fords have very weak engines. The injectors and cylinders being their weak points. Keep ontop of servicing and use the specified premium grade oils if you're hoping to keep it a while. As the piston rings are piss poor. Ford designed them to reduce friction and they're not all that durable.
