Congrats on 1 million! This channel has been a huge help to me ever since I got my kamado. Honestly one of the reasons I come back to your channel over others is because you cook with real life regular ingredients that I can actually afford and with methods I actually have time for. So many other channels are showing how to cook steaks that are thicker than my leg and are dry aged over 90 days in the presence of angels and cost half my salary. When you put up a video I know it's gonna be with ingredients I can pop out and buy, using methods I can do after work or without consuming my entire weekend and the results are still always great. My fav video is probably the smash burgers where you did the first side on the griddle and the other side over the flame. I still use that method and the results are always superb. Keep up the good work.

Congratulations , fantastic achievement , enjoy the journey to 2 million! To be honest, my favourite thing about the channel is how approachable your videos are - you, your personality, your food, your video presentations … the full package is super easy to watch and I always look forward to seeing a video come out. Your channel also introduced me to both the RustyBBQ Company and Waz’s BBQ Hut Sauces - both can now regularly be found in my kitchen - so thank you :)

Always loved BBQs. I’d heard about the Kamado market leading brands. And then BBQ Life introduced me to the Aldi Kamado. Why to buy, where to start, and beginners recipes! I find myself coming back for accessory ideas when money allows, such as the Kamado Kings rotisserie which has helped with the best doner kebab and shawarma. Even a plancha for this upcoming Father’s Day! You may not realise the inspiration from this channel, but more recipe ideas would be great. I would suggest more focus on the traditional Kamado cooks, giving a steer to the best rubs and mop sauces to go with pork ribs, dry rubs for beef ribs, the brisket, and different cuts/uses. Being a UK channel, the meat we see from the butchers is a little different to the US and it’s great to hear what to ask for and what works. Keep it up, congrats on 1 million views 🎉

Particularly enjoyed the video around setting it up and still refer back to it just as a helpful guide. After how long are you loosing temperature?
@GrantF-mg5zp Жыл бұрын
@@BBQLIFE Thanks for getting back to me Tom. Using a mini Aldi kamado and after about 30 mins will get a temperature of about 170-190°c. The pieces of lumpwood charcoal are spread in a ring round the bottom of the kamado with 4 woodies lit, the pieces of lumpwood aren't the biggest. Then as soon as the first food goes on, I'm losing heat for the rest of the cooking. Been keeping both vents fully open to see if that can help, but doesn't make much of a difference. Any advice would be brilliant thanks 👍
@BBQLIFE Жыл бұрын
It sounds like you fule is burning out to quickly is there space for any more?
@GrantF-mg5zp Жыл бұрын
@@BBQLIFE There is more space, to be honest I've been measuring out the amount and following the guide in the manual that came with it. So I've only been putting in no more than 500g. This has been spread round the base to keep the bottom grate clear for airflow. Should I be putting more fuel in and how much space should I leave beneath the cooking grill? Thanks again 😀
@BBQLIFE Жыл бұрын
Put in more fuel and you won't need the vent as open now either.it will still take some learning buy you will get there.

It would be nice to see some kind of assessment of the amount of smoke that the Ninja Woodfire grill puts on food. Pellets are notorious for giving very mild smoke however if anything I’ve found with only a cap full of pellets the Woodfire gives a heavy, perhaps dirty?, smoke to the food it cooks. Is this only me or are others finding this too?
@BBQLIFE Жыл бұрын
I've. Not had an issue however I done add the food straight away I want for the preheat cycle before adding. Maybe give that ago.
@dougjsking Жыл бұрын
@@BBQLIFE thanks for the suggestion but I’m not adding the food early, it’s just laying on a heavy smoke. This is true both for the traeger cherry pellets and AandO’s Jack Daniels charcoal ones

Well done on the 1m views. You helped me get going with my Aldi Komodo. I'd love to see a video on using a rotisserie extension on a kamodo as I got one in Jan but the results have been mixed. Keep up the good work

Love to see you cook a tomahawk, I think my favourite videos are the burger ones that you have done. Burgers of the world. 👍

There's a couple of tomahawk videos in the back catalogue. 👍🏻

Congratulations on achieving a major milestone. Like most of the comments, I love the kebabs videos. Pretty much a staple now in our house. I’d like to see you do something like a taco series. Birria are the most popular now but there’s plenty of others.

Great giveaway, got an Ak22 and followed you from purchase, and then after seeing you Kamado kings revue felt confident in getting a new Kamado so I am now the proud owner of a Grande Ltd :-) Cheers for all the advice from your channel, much appreciated.

Nice one on the million views. Followed since I bought my AK last year. Fav recipes are the Al Pastor, bought from Rusty BBQ (chook chalk is my fav) with the sweetcorn side. Also, made it with pineapple and it's amazing. Last cook was the mac and cheese. ❤❤❤ love the sides. Keep them coming.

@BBQLIFE something potato based would be good. Salsas/relishes that compliment the meat is also something I'm into. Struggle for ideas though.
